The story follows Elephant and Piggie as they explore the concept of patience and waiting. Piggie tells Elephant that she has a surprise for him, but when Elephant realizes he has to wait for hit, he grows more and more impatient. Piggie tries to distract Elephant to make the waiting easier, and eventually the waiting is over and a beautiful blanket of stars appears in the night sky. Elephant is happy he waited.
